Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website. Please read these terms in full before you use this website. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website. Your continued use of this website confirms your acceptance of these terms.


New Appliances

Placing an order:

​1) New appliances can be purchased directly through our website or by calling us on 01788 624422.

2) Once a new appliance has been purchased we will contact the customer to arrange a suitable delivery time and date. 

​Delivery:

1) We offer a delivery service on all new appliances purchased through Rugby Home Appliances within 20 miles of our postcode which is CV22 5BL.

2) Deliveries are usually made within 5 working days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed and/or depending on stock levels. You can contact us on 01788 624422 to confirm a more accurate delivery date before placing an order.

Connection and Installation:

1) We offer a connection or full installation service on all electrical appliances purchased through Rugby Home Appliances. Prices start from £10 for freestanding appliances and from £50 for built in / integrated appliances. You can select all connection or full installation options when placing an order.

1) We can take away your old appliance after delivering a new appliance purchased through Rugby Home Appliances for an additional charge of £10. Fridges & Freezers have a £15 removal charge.  

Manufacturer Guarantee:

1) All new appliances purchased through Rugby Home Appliances come with a manufacturers guarantee. 

2) The length of the guarantee varies depending on which appliance you purchase. 

3) When we deliver the new appliance, we will provide all the relevant documents for you to activate your manufacturers guarantee. You must activate your manufacturer guarantee within 28 days from purchase unless otherwise stated.

4) In the unlikely event you have any problems with the appliance within the guarantee period you should call the manufacturer directly to arrange a free repair service. 

Returns & Refunds:

1) If you change your mind after purchasing an appliance we are happy to offer an exchange or refund within 14 days from the date you receive the appliance.

2) We will only offer an exchange or full refund if the appliance is still packaged and in a resaleable condition. Once the appliance has been unpackaged, installed or used, only a partial refund will be given. Please note, this could be up to 50% of the price.

In Stock & Sold Out:

1) Appliances listed as "In Stock" means either we or our supplier have the appliance in stock. In Stock items are usually delivered within 5 days.

2) Appliances listed as "Sold Out" means that both we and our supplier do not currently have the appliance in stock. 

3) All appliance stock levels are updated regularly but are subject to change without prior notice. Should a customer order an appliance online which is no longer in stock then either a full refund will be offered or an alternative appliance will be suggested with any difference in price to be settled in full before delivery. 


Spare Parts

​Placing an order:

1) Spare parts can be ordered by calling us on 01788 624422.

2) To place an order we will require the following details:

3) Orders placed before 14:30 Monday - Friday (excludes public holidays) will be despatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be despatched the next working day.  

​Delivery Service:

1) We offer a UK Mainland delivery service on all spare parts ordered through Rugby Home Appliances.

2) Spare parts can be sent using our Free Standard Delivery Service (3-5 working days) or our Express Delivery Service (1-2 working days) for an additional cost of £3.95.

3) Our delivery service is only available to UK mainland and excludes post codes BT, JE, GY, IM.

4) Certain postcodes may require an additional day delivery. 

​Parts Guarantee:

1) All spare parts purchased through Rugby Home Appliances come with a 12 month guarantee. 

2) Should you have any problems with the spare part within the guarantee period we will send another replacement part to you. 

3) The faulty part must be returned to us. 

Returns & Refunds:

1) Should the customer order a wrong part or no longer require the part then it can be returned to us at the customers cost.

2) A full refund or exchange will be processed once the part has been received by us. 

3) The returned part must be unused and still sealed in its original packaging. 

4) Used or unpackaged parts will not be refunded. 

5) Refunds are issued, less our delivery cost. Our delivery costs are: Standard delivery £3.00. Express delivery £6.95.


Repairs

Booking a repair:

1) You can book our repair service by calling us on 01788 624422 or by sending us a message on the contact us page.

2) We offer a same day or next day call out depending on our availability. 

3) All repairs must be within 10 miles from CV22 5BL.

Call out charges:

1) We charge a £20 call out fee to diagnose the fault with the appliance. Once the fault has been diagnosed we will then quote a price to complete the repair.

2) The call out fee can be paid in advance over the phone or once the engineer arrives at your property. 

3) We accept both cash and card in person. We do not accept cheques.  

Repair Guarantee:

1) Most of our repairs come with a guarantee. 

2) If a brand new part is fitted the guarantee will be 6 months. 

3) In some cases we can fit a second hand part to keep the cost down. Second hand parts come with a 3 month guarantee. 

4) Repairs carried out which were caused by customer neglect are not covered by any guarantee. 

5) Should a separate fault occur within the guarantee period this will be charged as a new repair.
